Who We Are

Owner & Consultant

Katelynn Z. Regner

Katelynn has been working in the nonprofit industry for over a decade. She got her start with The Choice Program, an AmeriCorps program that provides holistic case management and engaging programming to Baltimore youth. It was in this role that she learned the power of programs that value service, advocacy, and empathy. After her service year, she went on to become a job coach with a Certificate in Supported Employment at St John’s Community Services. Later moving on to operate a permanent supported housing site with Bethesda Project. Essentially, running a 50-person household— overseeing all case management, building maintenance, community activities, etc. It is through these personal experiences and growth opportunities that she learned about practices of restorative justice, harm reduction, anti-racism, and crisis prevention. (If you wish to learn more about these critical practices, Katelynn is happy to provide further resources and references.)

Katelynn has a passion for social justice and organizational development, which led her to grants management. At the City of Harrisburg, she managed the federal grant programs including CARES, Community Development Block Grants, and Emergency Solutions Grants for all nonprofit applicants. This meant reviewing all applications, managing the budgets and funding, monitoring the federal compliance of each subrecipient, and understanding HUD regulations. Katelynn returned to her roots in Baltimore, MD, to work with St Ambrose Housing Aid Center, where she managed their portfolio of public and private grants. As of November 2022, Katelynn opened the doors to Good Willed Consulting LLC, where we service the nonprofits of Baltimore and beyond.

In her spare time, Katelynn sits on the board of Pro-Choice Maryland, a nonprofit organization that advocates for bodily autonomy and reproductive justice for the state of Maryland. She enjoys gardening, live music, vintage furniture, and traveling with her husband.

The Vision

I believe in a world where all of our needs are met. A future where we all feel cared for and fulfilled, with opportunities for personal growth and joy. I believe that it is us— the individuals— caring for our neighbors that make this happen. I believe in the good that exists in all of us; each day we wake up and decide how we want to impact the world. Good Willed Consulting LLC is my attempt to impact my community and those around me. By increasing the capacity of each organization that I work with, I help them reach more people in my community. I want to tell the stories of the changemakers, the doers, the visionaries; I created Good Willed Consulting LLC to offer my skills to the people doing the most challenging work each day.
